The opportunity

Credential theft risk across a complex hybrid estate

A PAM solution was needed to mitigate credential theft and enforce centralised control across complex AWS, Azure and on-premise environments.
Privileged accounts were distributed across multiple Active Directory instances and cloud back-ends, with no unified platform, no session auditability and no consistent policy enforcement.

What we delivered

Strategic programme management. Managed the full lifecycle, from requirements and competitive RFP through analyst-rated vendors to Proof of Concept selection — ensuring optimal solution fit based on risk analysis, rigorous due diligence and successful integration with existing infrastructure.
Comprehensive security and compliance. Global requirements gathering and analysis of credential theft risk across the organisation, mapping to NIST CSF and SP 800-53 and to business processes, to create functional and non-functional requirements and a remediation plan.
Infrastructure-as-code automation. Used Azure DevOps and Terraform to build automated deployment workflows and reusable code, enabling rapid, standardised deployment and scalability, minimising manual errors and maximising code re-use across all multi-cloud back-ends.
Enhanced monitoring and auditability. Successfully onboarded all privileged accounts and critical systems, enabling mandatory session recording for compliance, continuous monitoring and non-repudiation of all privileged actions.
