We value our people, the contributions they make, and the reputation they have built. The key to our growth has been the ability to assemble a team of world-class, highly experienced and certified practitioners — and you work with them directly.

Richard holds both Chartered Security Professional (CSyP) status — the highest chartered designation in the security profession, spanning cyber, physical and personnel security — and Chartered Cyber Security Professional (ChCSP) from the UK Cyber Security Council.
He has held executive accountability for information risk rather than advising on it from the outside. That has meant senior responsibility for security, information governance and technology across large regulated organisations, with substantial budgets and teams, and personal accountability as Senior Information Risk Owner. His work has included critical national infrastructure, and taking organisations through ISO 27001 certification.

Louise plans and organises company practices and processes and manages the day to day administration of the company.
Louise began her career in marketing and promotions for a FTSE Pub retailer. She then progressed to Project Management for the FTSE FMCG manufacturer Kraft Foods before becoming a Supply Chain Project Manager with a FTSE healthcare manufacturer Reckitt Benckiser.
More recently Louise worked within Technology Consultancy before joining Cyberbase Consulting in November 2020 as Operations Manager, and is now our Operations Director ensuring that the business continues to grow efficiently.
Louise partners directly with CTOs, programme directors and delivery leads to close the specialist capability gap in complex cyber security, cloud and transformation programmes. She originates and holds many of our client relationships, translating a delivery goal into the precise expertise needed to move it forward.
Her network is the asset rather than the market: a vetted community of architects, engineers, delivery leads and programme managers who are largely invisible to standard recruitment. She works across critical national infrastructure, financial services and enterprise cloud security, drawing on a career that began in investment banking and the global energy sector. She also writes publicly on AI governance and security engineering for an audience of several thousand security leaders.
Our consultants can demonstrate numerous case studies of successful engagements. Given the nature of security work, and to maintain client confidentiality and protect our clients' assets, we name clients only where it is appropriate to do so. References are available at C-suite level on request.
There is no layer between the people who scope the work and the people who deliver it. That is deliberate, and it is what allows us to offer deep expertise without the overhead structures of larger firms.
We work as part of your core security function rather than as a parallel workstream, in your meetings and your tooling, as one team.
You see the working, not just the conclusion. Stakeholders across the business are engaged as the analysis forms rather than presented with it afterwards.
Alongside our core service offerings we mentor, train and develop your in-house skills — so the capability stays behind when we leave.
Bring us the thing you are least comfortable with. We will tell you what it takes, and whether we are the right firm for it.
