Following a significant data breach, our client faced a critical challenge: a fragmented view of their data assets and access rights.
This lack of a unified, enterprise-wide security posture exposed them to regulatory risk — particularly concerning GDPR — and threatened their reputation.
Our engagement was to implement a comprehensive security and compliance programme to mitigate these risks, restore trust and establish a robust, future-proof security framework across all product lines.

Established a robust GDPR framework. Built a solid compliance structure, creating detailed Records of Processing Activities and Records of Assets. This provided a clear, auditable trail of data handling and ownership, ensuring products met stringent EU GDPR requirements.
Comprehensive data mapping. Using architectural diagrams, verified and mapped all personal data flows — meticulously documenting the lifecycle of sensitive data, such as passport information, from airport scanning through to its final destination.
Defined roles and responsibilities. Formalised the obligations of both data controllers and processors, clarifying accountability and streamlining data governance across the client’s vast network of third-party vendors and partners.
